Flock of Dodos: the Evolution-Intelligent Design Circus is a documentary film by American marine biologist and filmmaker Randy Olson. It talks about the controversies between the proponents of theory of Intelligent Design and Theory of Evolution.
The Dodos are the birds found in an island country of Mauritius. This species of birds could not fly. It got extinct due to its own stupidity. This movie tends to portray who are the real dodos and who may go extinct between the proponents of intelligence design and evolution. Although the film maker is bias to the supporters of theory of Evolution but he gives equal air.
The proponent of theory of evolution seems to be cut off from the real man. They use scientific jargons which are hard to understand by regular people. Hence they and their ideas are totally cutoff from the common people.
Proponents of theory of Intelligent design uses real pictures like Mt. Rushmore and try to support their theory with real common examples. Hence the common people can perceive the idea and can visualize in their own sense. Proponents are in the likes of Lawyers etc.
Hence this documentary also portrays the effectiveness of the language and how to make science understandable to common people will help it development.
Good point about the intelligent designers using pictures and easy to understand examples. That's something I forgot to include in my writeup.
